Do I need experience?

No experience is required. The only way to know Pilates is by doing Pilates. All you need is the will to strengthen and balance your body and the desire to improve your performance and work towards tension-free, pain-free living!

What if I am injured?

If you have suffered an injury or strain, you should always seek medical advice before attempting any form of exercise. Pilates however is an excellent method of recovering from injury and your instructor can design a programme around the injury you are recovering from.

What if I am pregnant?

Pilates is a gentle, low impact form of exercise and is widely considered one of the best forms of exercise for most pregnant women. Pilates works to build core strength, maintaining and improving abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. It is generally a safe and physically beneficial form of exercise during pregnancy.

What should I wear?

Because of the nature of the Pilates exercise, shoes are not required. You should wear clean socks, non-baggy, comfortable clothing that is easy for your posture and alignment to be observed and modified, ultimately helping to achieve your Pilates goals.

What should I bring?

Water and towel for the head cushion and face is provided in the studio, although you are welcome to bring your own.

I’m booked onto a class… but running late. Should I still turn up?

We understand that unexpected circumstances might mean you can’t get to a class on time. You can still turn up, but there will be no catch up time.

How do I cancel classes I have booked?

There is a trict 24-hour cancellation policy. Classes cancelled 24 hours or more before the date and time of the class you have booked will be re-credited to your account/block.
